| Description | This Florida Department of Corrections project was the first and second year of what was soon to be called the T-cell program. It involved the installation and erection of almost 5000 jail cells into 38 two-story building across the state of Florida. These two-story buildings had to be constructed in five days in order to meet the very demanding schedule. PPI worked as a construction manager prefabricating, delivering and managing the installation of precast/prefinished jail cells. Once the cells were erected, we managed the installation of the finishes, and all MEP support systems for the cells. |
