| Description | This project consists of new construction of the Queen of Peace Catholic Community Church. The church is a 1,595 seat sanctuary. The church architecture is of a Spanish Mission Design. The ornate finishes include granite altar and blessing bowls that were quarried, sculpted, and transported from Europe. In addition to the main worship hall, several support areas are included, such as a choir practice/music studio for choir practice and storage of musical instruments, worship rooms, daycare, gift shop, community room, and a daily mass room. The Queen of Peace Sanctuary required superior acoustical qualities to enhance natural and amplified liturgical music; providing clear delivery of the spoken word at adequate sound levels; accommodating traditional and contemporary worship styles; and working under very strict budgetary and size constraints. |
