| Description | In order to accomodate Nordstrom stores in Florida the Nordstrom Distribution Center #799, located in Gainesville, Florida, was constructed. This distribution center includes a processing area, offices, cafeteria, conference rooms and a locker room. The building ground floor area is 169,960 sq ft and includes 17,270 sq ft of the ancillary space. There is a mezzanine floor of ancillary space that is 16,445 sq feet. The facility is built with non-combustible construction including a steel frame, load bearing insulated precast concrete exterior walls and a fire protection system. Overhead dock doors on the south wall at the receiving and shipping truckyard were included in the scope. |
