Description

Eastridge Middle School is located in Clermont across from East Ridge High School.

Designed by Schenkel Shultz architects, the school contains single story administration, cafeteria, music and gymnasium buildings. There are also two three-story classroom buildings connected by a covered walkway. These buildings are structural steel with a steel  stud wall assembly and sloping metal roof system. The single story buildings are load-bearing masonry. All buildings have an exterior of multi-colored brick.

The sitework for this project was unusual due to the 65 foot change in elevation from one side of the site to the other. The elevation change required the removal of more than 300,000 cubic yards of dirt from the site.

Construction of this new school was complete for the Fall 2008 school year.
