The Salt Lake County Adult Detention Complex involved the installation of 1026 precast/ prefinished quad cell and double cell module jail cells.
The four housing pods constructed with the precast modules for this maximum security facility were designed for direct supervision. A unique non-secure back corridor chase construction was used for the utilities to the housing units.
PPI worked as a subcontractor prefabricating, delivering and managing the installation of the precast/prefinished jail cells. These cells were complete with furniture, wall fixtures, ventilation systems as well as electrical and plumbing fixtures.
